This Beautiful 1977 Bertram 28 FBC (Miss Behaven) was repowered in 2003 with all NEW complete FWC Crusader Captains Choice 300 hp inboards (462 hrs. each as of MAR 2012). New water pumps, spark plugs, rotors, and distributor caps installed 2011. This boat has been run regularly and well maintained.
In 2006 all NEW exhausts, all NEW hydraulic steering rods and bearings, all NEW 1,1/4 inch shafts, struts, 17X16 4 blade props,
all NEW rudder bearings, 2 new rudders, 31 Bertram size, boat will steer port or starboard with one engine.
FUEL TANK REPLACED 5-07 with SP industries USCG approved 165 gal aluminum fuel tank new 5-07 and ALL new fuel lines. Original Bertram 165 gal fiberglass fuel tank was replaced do to ethanol fuels and fiberglass compatibility issue. No ethanol laced fuel was ever run through these motors with the old fiberglass tank in place.
Freshwater system completely replaced with all new components...

Simrad color GPS plotter/sounder, vhf radio. Norcold AC/DC Fridge. Complete custom bridge enclosure, Two 27 series Interstate batteries with automatic Newmar charger. Fiberglass swim platform. Enclosed head with Jabsco push button macerator toilet and 15 gallon holding tank.
GREAT BOAT with an unbeatable Bertram ride and build quality. Sleeps four; two in V-berth and two on bunk / settee. Economical, I have averaged 6-8 gallons per hour total usage since owned. Very clean, lightly used and TURN KEY for 2012 season, FULL 165 GAL tank of fresh stabilized fuel.
Fresh ablative bottom paint and hull sides waxed for 2012!
